How To Make Bead Bracelet & Earrings : Crushed Ice Bracelet & Earrings
To make:-
1. Cut three 35cm lengths of Beadalon. Line up all three ends and pass them through a crimp bead, then through the loop on one of the toggle ends and finally back through the crimp bead. Pull the ends through 1.5cm, pushing the crimp up to the loop (not too tightly as you need space for the crimp cover.) Squash the crimp using chain nosed pliers.
2. Slip a crimp cover over the crimp bead and carefully close it using chain nosed pliers. *Pass all three strands through the centre hole of a bead cap, then a 12mm round, then another bead cap (make sure the 1.5cm tail has been hidden inside the round.)
3. Separate the strands and thread rock crystals onto each to a length of approximately 2.5cm**. Repeat from * to ** 4 more times. Finish the bracelet as in step 1, attaching the remaining toggle loop. Thread the ends of Beadalon through the last few chips and trim away the excess.
4. Cut three 10cm lengths of Beadalon, crimp one end of each piece, thread each with chips to fill approximately 1.5cm, pass all three through a bead cap, a round and a bead cap.
5. Pass the three strands through a knot cover, from outside to inside, thread all through a crimp bead, push the bead close to the knot cover and beads and squash to grip. Trim the ends and close the knot cover, then hook the knot cover into an ear wire and fully close the loop.
6. Repeat steps 4 & 5 to form second earring.
