How To Make Bead Bracelet : Atlantis Bracelet

To make:-

1. Cut both pieces of rattail in half. Take one of each colour, hold the ends together and lie them in the U shape of one of the end fasteners, with about 1cm extending out of the U and over the loop. Squash them neatly into the U and carefully fold each side flap of the end fastener over both the strands, one at a time, making sure no rattail is exposed along the length of it. It's a very snug fit so if preferred, use a spare end fasteners to practise with , and if necessary, trim it off and repeat with another one (there is enough rattail in the amount stated). Trim the short ends of rattail with sharp scissors. Repeat this step with the other two stands.

2. Thread all four strands through a charm bead then take one of each colour over the top of one side of one of the squares, and down through the centre. Take the remaining two strands under the same edge of the ring and up through the centre.

3. Repeat Step 2 three more times, alternating the colour of square, pushing the beads up fairly close to one another and arranging the rattail strands to lie evenly. Thread all four strands through the final charm bead, pushing it close to the last square.

4. Attach an end fastener to the pairs of strands as in Step 1, trimming the excess rattail with sharp scissors.

5. At one end of the bracelet, wind a split ring onto one end fastener loop then the second end fastener loop, ensuring the lie the same way (that is, with the folds facing the same way as the foiled backs of the squares, then wind the toggle bar onto the split ring. Repeat this step at the other end of the bracelet to attach the toggle circle.
