Simply Subtle Bracelet : Instructions

This bracelet is simplicity itself to make, but looks really pretty, only requiring the ability to open and close jump rings, using one pair of pliers. Why not buy an extra bracelet and use the spare beads to make one for a friend, or save money by buying it in kit form? If you wanted to make it more decorative, you could add more seed beads on jumps to each link, or you could add a few bead dangles, (made on headpins), spaced out along the length of the bracelet - for example, using Swarovski Wavy Crystal Pearls.

To Make :

1. Open a jump ring by gripping it either side of the join (you can use two pairs of pliers for this, but it's easy enough to use one pair and your fingers on this size of jump), then push one side away from you and pull the other side towards you to open the ring whilst maintaining the shape.

2. Slide on a milky pomegranate bead then hook the ring onto one side of the first link of the bracelet.

3. Close the ring using the pliers as before, drawing the sides of it back together to form a smooth join.

4. Repeat the above steps to add one bead of each colour to each side of each link, working in an alternate pattern as you go along the bracelet and starting the second side with the crystal rose-gold lined to ensure the two colours go opposite each other on the links.
