Natural Twist Ring : Instructions
To make:-
1. Thread one end of wire up through one of the holes on the twist, and the other end up through the other hole, making sure you have the twist the right way up (silver shade coating on the rear). Insert to mandrel/pen into the loop and pull the wire carefully so that it fits snugly around the pen. Hold this in position.
2. Take one end of wire and wrap it around the pen and up through the hole on the other side of the twist. Repeat with the other wire, pulling both wires taut round the pen. Do the same again twice more, so that you have three loops of wire through each of the twist holes.
3. Keeping the pen in place to hold the ring shape, Take one end of wire and wrap it tightly around the three strands of the ring 5 times, working from the twist downwards. Repeat this process with the other wire at the other side of the twist.
4. Try the ring on, and if it needs to be a little smaller, add a few more wraps, testing for fit after each one. When you are satisfied with the fit, trim the wire on the inside of the ring and use chain nosed pliers to squash the end into the wrapping to form a smooth finish.
