To make:-

1. Thread about 8cm wire through the channel of a (horseshoe shaped) wire guardian, then hook the wire and wire guardian through one part of the clasp. Onto the long end of the wire thread a crimp bead and push it right up to the wire guardian and then thread the short end of wire through the crimp so that it forms a loop. When the crimp is close to the wire guardian and the wire is lying snugly in its channel, squash the crimp bead with the chain nosed pliers then close a crimp cover over the crimp.

2. Thread on 19 flourite beads, a saturn, an 10mm pearl, a saturn, 3 fluorite beads, a saturn, a 12mm pearl, a saturn, 3 fluorite beads, a saturn, a 12mm pearl, a saturn, 1 fluorite bead*, a 6mm pearl, a saturn, the foiled disc, a saturn, a 6mm pearl, a 4mm spacer and a 2.5mm spacer.

3. Thread the wire back through the 4mm spacer, 6mm pearl, saturn, foiled disc, saturn and

6mm pearl and pull it taut. Thread on more beads as in the sequence in step 2, but

working backwards from the *.

4 Thread on a crimp bead. Hook the other wire guardian through the other half of the clasp and thread the wire through it as in step 1, then take it back through the crimp bead and the last bead. Pull the wire until the wire guardian is close to the last bead, with no wire showing but the necklace is not taut and hangs nicely. Squash the crimp bead and close the crimp cover over it as before.
